For the very first time, The Doors' Golden Doors 2, their 1970 Japanese compilation, is available worldwide. This is an authentic re-creation now pressed on purple vinyl. / With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison's poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture. The Doors' arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become stone classics, but also of something much bigger - a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. They released six studio albums in all, as well as a live album and a compilation, before Morrison's death in 1971. Their electrifying achievements in the studio and onstage were unmatched in the annals of rock. In the decades since The Doors' heyday, the foursome has loomed ever larger in the pantheon of rock - and they remain a touchstone of insurrectionary culture for writers, activists, visual artists and other creative communities.
“Algebra for Broken Hearts” represents a rebirth for The Honeydogs. It has the immediacy and lean rock vibes of the band’s earliest recordings along with the back-to-the-roots spirit reuniting the four original members Adam Levy, Noah Levy, Trent Norton, and Tommy Borscheid. Recorded over five days with longtime friend and collaborator John Fields in June of 2024, it represents more than a simple rehash of what made the band popular when they began in 1995. It’s a synthesis of the scrappy early Honeydogs with the more sophisticated songwriting and stylistic explorations of more recent Honeydog offerings. It’s a fresh start with the best of old and new. Brothers Noah (drums) and Adam Levy (singer-songwriter/ guitar) started the band in the early 90’s, and enlisted the sturdy and inventive playing of Trent Norton on bass and the razor wire -meets-chicken picking of Tommy Borscheid on guitar. The sound of the early band was shaped as much by classic country, soul and British rock as it was by their hometown music scene heroes Prince and The Replacements. The band released their first eponymously titled record in 1995 and put in about four hundred club dates across North America creating music that folks were labeling “Alt Country” at the time. The Stones’ “Exile on Mainstreet,” The Kinks “Village Green Preservation Society,” The Flying Burrito Brothers “Gilded Palace of Sin” certainly inform those early records, along with The Faces, Bowie, Lucinda Williams, Dylan, Los Lobos, and lots of bands mixing acoustic roots musics with riff based rock and roll. “We were going to see bands every night in Minneapolis,” Noah recalled, and that fertile mix of upper Mississippi rock was seeping into the sauce. Band members were constantly sharing new music on the road. All of the gigs and bonding created a well-oiled road machine–as Tommy said, “we imprinted on each other,” musically, humor-wise and even style. At the same time Noah recorded and toured with Golden Smog, a local supergroup with their peers in Wilco, The Jayhawks, Soul Asylum, and Run Westy Run. It started to feel like the band had arrived. They recorded “Everything, I Bet You” during all of that touring in 1996 and that album landed the band great critical reviews and a major label deal with Mercury, “Seen a Ghost” (1997). It was the band’s big break…that never really delivered “success” in record sales, though lots of tour buses were chased and the party never ended. Dates with INXS, and Jon Bon Jovi got the band in front of some big audiences. Throughout the 2000s the band lineup changed a few times and they scaled back touring. The Honeydogs recorded a bunch of adventurous, well-received records like “Here’s Luck” (2001),”10,000 Years” (2003) on Aimee Mann’s United Musicians label, and “Amygdala” (2006). Trent, Noah and Adam started a ‘bowling night’ project with multiple vocalists and horns called “Hookers and Blow,” playing their favorite songs with some of the best musicians in the Twin Cities, partly to break out of the heartache of making records with diminishing returns. Tragedy struck in 2012 and Adam lost his son. Life was forever altered. A few more records were released on different indie labels: “What Comes After” (2012), a solo Adam record called “Naubinway” (2014) mostly around grief and the last Honeydogs record before the newest one, “Love and Cannibalism” (2016). From about 2018-2023 The Honeydogs pressed the pause button. Some members had moved to different parts of the country. Trent went to Nashville seeking some new musical opportunities. Noah opened Chubby Mammal recording studio—and he is one of the best drummers on either side of the Mississippi which has kept him in high demand. Adam started teaching high school social studies–history and social justice always informed his music but he wanted to go full bore, also teaching songwriting in prisons, Levy muses, “It’s always in my lyrics—historical characters, events, movements—history is how we try to understand the past, make sense of the present and anticipate the future. I feel joy surrounded by kids in the classroom talking about this stuff since I lost one child. It’s really been a gift” Then in 2023 a label re-licensed the band’s sophomore, fan favorite “Everything, I Bet You” on vinyl. As the band was writing liner notes and reminiscing long distance, Tommy, who had been working in music distribution, playing with The Old 97s’ Rhett Miller and living in Houston, suggested doing at least one show to celebrate this record’s twenty five plus year re-release. Onstage the audience enthusiasm and band chemistry on that iconic First Ave stage got the band thinking about making a new record. The twin guitar attack felt really great, according to Adam, “It was good to have Tommy back—he’s got fire in his belly and we missed it…he’s always searching for the ‘Holy Grail’ of tone. He’s the salt to my pepper.” All band members were invited to contribute to the sourcing of material. The band selected a batch including two songs from Tommy, “Captain” and “Bend or Break.” This adds another cool dimension to the record since all previous Honeydogs records only featured songs by Adam. About recording in June 2024, Trent remembers “the band tracked fast, it was oddly comfortable, like the band had never stopped.” Adam added, “and lacking any of the combative drama” that was a feature of brotherly friction in the early Honeydogs days. The record opens with the Zeppelin riff bombast of “Attic Brain,” a pun on “addict brain” and is bookended with Tommy’s “Bend or Break,” a song which would have felt at home on The Beatles’ “White Album” or “Let it Be.” John Fields is a great musician as well as producer and he sprinkled some slinky keyboard parts over the mixes. Adam’s bandmates Barb Brynstad and Savannah Smith from his other band Turn Turn Turn added some sweet , soulful backing vocals on a few tunes like the swampy “Righteous Came the Stranger” and the stellar “I Don’t Wanna Fight.” “Irish Goodbye” is like Cheap Trick meets Motown reminding us like a dysfunctional relationship of the wages of drugs and booze. Tommy’s “Captain” feels like a Ziggy Stardust or T-Rex glam rocker about leaders losing their bearings. The title track, “Algebra for Broken Hearts,” is a surreal fever dream about the passage of time and the messy, unexpected paths upon which we find ourselves. That vibe and song title captured a moment for the band. There are no neat formulas or easy solutions in this strange, beautiful world. Can you feel the tide come in? Can you feel it pull your skin? I’m sending all my best regards Algebra for broken hearts This new album isn’t about launching a career or trying to sell a huge amount of records. It’s about deep friendships and making meaningful music. “I hope people like it,” Noah muses, “it feels as good as anything we’ve ever done.”

Recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (Orville Peck, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson), the fifth full album from the singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist marks a sonic departure from her recent work and features twelve new songs—eleven originals and one cover, of Icona Pop and Charli xcx’s “I Love It.” The album campaign kicks off with the first single, “That’s Gonna Leave a Mark,” which she co-wrote with Kevin Griffin (Better Than Ezra).
On her new album—a hybrid of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking, plus one murder ballad—Tuttle goes to a whole new place. Her virtuoso guitar work takes center stage on this album more than ever, and for the first time, she introduces her banjo playing into two of her recordings.“I like to be a bit of a chameleon with my music. Keep people guessing and keep it full of surprises,” she says.
So Long Little Miss Sunshine was recorded with drummer/percussionists Jay Bellerose and Fred Eltringham, bassist Byron House, and Joyce on multiple instruments. Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show) also plays banjo, fiddle, and harmonica, as well as singing harmony; much of the LP was co-written with Secor, who is also Tuttle’s partner. “We spend so much time together, we live together, and anytime I have a song idea, or he has one, it’s just so easy to transition from whatever we’re doing into writing a song.”
Tuttle also conceived the artwork for So Long Little Miss Sunshine, which features multiple Mollys, each wearing a different wig except for one with nothing on her head at all. Tuttle has been bald since she was three years old due to the autoimmune condition alopecia areata; she acts as a spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.

Time ebbs and flows. Something we cannot control, although we wish we could...
Laufey’s third album...A Matter Of Time...is finally here.
A Matter of Time is a beautiful masterpiece of introspection about the anguish that comes with life and love. Laufey has captivated a generation with virtuosic songs of love and self-discovery by manifesting her vision of jazz and classical-infused pop music. But after becoming the youngest ever recipient of the GRAMMY for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album (for Bewitched), the Icelandic-Chinese composer, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist feels freer than ever to, as she puts it, “let my heart wander.” For her third album, A Matter of Time, Laufey teams with fellow producers Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner to break the set of expectations she herself set, serving up a transcendent sound and honest writing that cuts to the heart. It’s the culmination of an incredible journey that began with her playing cello with the Iceland Symphony as a teen before writing her first charting single while studying at Berklee College of Music.
Laufey’s many achievements have since grown to include 4.25 billion global streams, a social media audience of 23 million, the biggest jazz LP debut in Spotify history, an album in Billboard’s Top 20, a pile of Platinum plaques, a Forbes 30 Under 30 designation, and, in 2025, being named one of TIME’s Women of the Year. She’s also: sold out the Hollywood Bowl, Radio City Music Hall, and London’s Royal Albert Hall; performed backed by the LA Phil, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the China Philharmonic Orchestra; shared the stage with the likes of Jon Batiste and Raye; and collaborated on record with artists ranging from Beabadoobee to Norah Jones.
This album will transcend Laufey into new heights, and the physical rollout plays a special role in the overall creative strategy. There are several vinyl variants launching on May 15, 3 CDs, and 1 cassette. All uniquely representing moments in time.

Three Days Grace returns with Alienation - their 8th studio album and a landmark moment in rock. For the first time in over a decade, original frontman Adam Gontier is back joining Matt Walst on vocals along with Neil Sanderson (drums), Brad Walst (bass) and Barry Stock (guitars) the twelve tracks on "`Alienation' all play a pivotal role in defining this significantly new, but nostalgic, chapter of the band. The album is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance-The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about - anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect, are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet, buried in all the wreckage is something human-still reaching out.
Terry Riley - The Columbia Recordings (4-CD Box Set)
The definitive reissue of Terry Riley's pioneering works for Columbia Masterworks.
This deluxe 4-CD box set from Sony Music brings together the seminal Columbia recordings of Terry Riley, a visionary composer whose influence on minimalist and electronic music continues to ripple through generations. Thoughtfully presented with archival materials, this collection offers an essential document of Riley's most transformative period when the pulse of innovation met the possibilities of high-fidelity sound.
This box set is more than a collection of recordings it is a rare window into a time when the avant-garde found a home in major-label studios and groundbreaking artists like Riley were given space to explore uncharted sonic territory. From his mesmeric electric keyboard and saxophone improvisations to his pioneering use of analog tape delay, every track here pulses with the spirit of experimentation. Starting with the original 1968 recording of In C, captured at Columbia's legendary 30th Street Studio, by revered engineer Fred Plaut, the set includes four seminal works by Riley that helped shape not only the minimalist movement but much of the late 20th century avant-garde landscape.
Designed with collectors in mind, the box includes:
The 1968 Columbia recording of In C, A Rainbow In Curved Air, Church of Anthrax (in collaboration with John Cale of the Velvet Underground) and Shri Camel.
Rarely seen archival photographs from the 30th Street Studio sessions.

First-hand reflections from David Behrman, the original producer of In C and A Rainbow in Curved Air; Essay by Thomas Welsh, Terry Riley's longtime manager and archivist, and has written extensively about music in the 20th century.
Reprints of all essays and notes from the original vinyl releases.
This reissue celebrates not only Terry Riley's contributions to modern music but also the cultural conditions that made these recordings possible: a record label willing to take artistic risks, a community of radical composers, and a generation of listeners eager to explore the unknown.
An essential addition to any serious collection of 20th-century music.
Nonesuch Records releases pianist and composer Brad Mehldau’s Ride into the Sun—a songbook record of music by the late singer, songwriter, and guitarist Elliott Smith. Featured musicians include singer/guitarist Daniel Rossen (Grizzly Bear); singer/mandolinist Chris Thile (Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek); bassists Felix Moseholm (Brad Mehldau Trio) and John Davis; drummer Matt Chamberlain (Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Randy Newman, etc.); and a chamber orchestra led by Dan Coleman.
Ride into the Sun’s ten Elliott Smith songs are complemented by four Mehldau compositions that he says are “inspired by, and reflect, Smith’s oeuvre.” Also included are interpretations of Big Star’s “Thirteen,” which Smith also covered, and “Sunday” by Nick Drake, who Mehldau says, “I look at in some ways as sort of Smith’s visionary godfather.”
Recalling how he first got to know Smith and his music, which has been a regular part of his repertoire for years, Mehldau said that after years living in New York, he moved to Los Angeles “and there was this wonderful scene of singer-songwriters that was congregating at a club called Largo. That included Elliott but it also included artists like Rufus Wainwright, Fiona Apple. And then other musicians who had been around for a while would come down every Friday night to sit in on a gig that was led by Jon Brion. I played behind Elliott on his own tunes with Jon. It felt to me like a kind of renaissance in songwriting that flourished for a number of years.”

Double Wish is the Orange County, CA-based dark-sunshine-pop project of Adam Sabolick and Philippe Andre. Since 2020, Double Wish has performed across California and released three EPs; their debut Light Split Sparkle, came out in 2023 via Hit the North Records. Follow-ups, Universe Sometimes (2024) and Deeper Ecstasy (2025) lead into their upcoming 10-track self-titled debut album. Blending influences from The Sundays to Underworld, DIIV, Beach Fossils and Cocteau Twins, their sound finds a scintillating, sun-kissed middle ground coalescing shoegaze, psych-rock and indie-rock. In their time, Double Wish has earned consistent support from Stereogum, FLOOD Magazine, Under the Radar, KEXP, KCRW, KCSN and more while on the live front, they have shared stages with Big Black Delta, superheaven, Always You, Sixpence None the Richer, NEIL FRANCES, and others.
When BURNING WITCHES take the stage, the world trembles beneath their firestorm of heavy metal might. On their sixth studio album, Inquisition, out August 22, 2025 via Napalm Records, the Swiss powerhouse returns with a darker, more thunderous brew — diving headfirst into the themes of medieval persecution, religious oppression, and the unbreakable spirit of resistance. Featuring 12 brand-new tracks, the album marks a bold new era: forged in the flames of power/heavy metal, sharpened by anthemic songwriting and epic instrumentation. Following the classic heavy metal tones of their previous record, The Dark Tower (2023), Inquisition delivers tight production and an unrelenting onslaught of burning riffs, crushing drums, and vocal sorcery, driven by producers Damir Eskic (Destruction) and V.O. Pulver (Little Creek Studio, Pro-Pain, Destruction), and shaped by the songwriting of founding guitarist Romana Kalkuhl. With booming drums, Latin chants and eerie guitar melodies, opener “Sanguini Hominum” sets a harrowing mood for the medieval power/heavy metal madness! With “Soul Eater”, BURNING WITCHES descend into a fierce thrash underworld, unleashing relentless drums, savage riffs, and razor-sharp screams that slice through the dark like a scythe. The title track “Inquisition” opens the gates with a tempest of high-energy power metal, as thunderous basslines, pounding drums and twin guitars dripping in witchery support Laura Guldemond’s hair-raising vocals, channeling raw emotion and groove. The rousing single “High Priestess Of The Night” pulses a heavy rock swagger and a melodic 80s-style guitar solo, capturing the mysterious strength of ancient rituals. After the high-octane ride of “Burn In Hell”, the witches shift gears with “Release Me”, a melodic ballad that blends rich atmospheric soundscapes with chill-inducing vocals. Subsequent tracks like “Mirror, Mirror” dive back into the band’s signature riff-laden heavy metal sorcery, while “Malus Maga” stands out with energetic grooves and memorable vocal lines, making it a more-than-worthy epic closer to the album.
The Hives Forever, Forever The Hives is the band’s 7th studio LP, a razor-sharp culmination of their rupturing, signature “powder-keg” (NYT) rock n roll energy that initially captured the zeitgeist during the garage rock revival in the early 2000s. The Hives continue to reach sky-high on the new album, with the majority of it recorded in one take at Yung Lean/YEAR0001’s studio and riksmixningsverket – a studio owned by Benny Andersson of ABBA in Stockholm. The record was produced by their longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Viagra Boys, Yung Lean, Elvira) as well as the band’s old tourmate Mike D of the Beastie Boys, who flew out to Sweden specifically to work on the album and hosted the band at his studio in Malibu. Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age consulted on the record, too.
Jehnny Beth, former frontwoman of Mercury-nominated English rock band Savages, returns with her 2nd solo

Full of deep empathy, sober insights, and lively guitar licks, Rodney Crowell’s new album takes its title from a seemingly mundane stretch of four-lane blacktop that runs deep into Louisiana. It’s the road he and producer Tyler Bryant drove to reach the remote studio where they recorded these songs, hauling a truckload of gear on a two-day journey that ended in swamps. Along the way Crowell looked up the route they were driving: Airline Highway. It’s the southernmost segment of Highway 61, also called the Blues Highway or the Great River Road, and it follows the Mississippi River from Minnesota down to New Orleans. Crowell is intimately familiar with this part of the country. He grew up on the east side of Houston, just a few hours west of the state line, and made wild forays into Louisiana as a young man to drink or carouse or mostly to catch live music.
Airline Highway is an album full of old, abiding loves, whether it’s a favorite song or a lover you remember fondly. Songs like “Sometime Thang” and “Rainy Days in California” (the latter featuring Lukas Nelson) raise a glass to old romances and encounters with different women in California or down in Louisiana: falling in love, toughing out hard times, growing apart until they become “that small voice on your phone,” to quote a devastating line on “Taking Flight,” co-written with and featuring Ashley McBryde. Some are fictional, Crowell explains, but they all contain some kernel of truth.
“At a basic level there are a lot more years behind me than there are ahead of me. I’m up in my seventieth decade of my life, and I’m glad that I’m still looking forward to certain things I want to do, but a lot of what’s worth talking about is behind me.” One of the things Crowell looks forward to is making more music with musicians he genuinely loves. “I’m just in love with the experience now. I’ve worked with amazing people in the past, but I was looking too far ahead. I wanted the music we were creating to make a name for me, so I wasn’t completely present with them. My ego was involved. But now my ego seems to have finally evaporated. Now it’s just about the work and what a blessing it is to be able to do it. The work truly feeds me in the moment.”
For nearly a decade Margo Price has created a lane where independent-minded, insurgent country music can exist and thrive alongside the mainstream. Now she’s back with an exquisite, timeless album that reconnects with her roots. At its core Hard Headed Woman is about that furious instinct to never waver—especially when our values and future are so clearly on the line. It's country music as only Price can make it: free of rules, cherishing tradition, hard headed but with a delicate beating heart.
With 15 gold awards, six platinum awards and over ten million records sold, HELLOWEEN are celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary with the successor to their self-titled #1 album from 2021. “GIANTS & MONSTERS” is the second album for the legendary line-up and the title immediately states where the album is heading. Confident and bursting with vigor, the septet presents what probably is the most versatile album of their career. With five strong songwriters and seven world-class musicians, creative limits are set aside once and for all on “GIANTS & MONSTERS”. Consistently topping superlatives and presenting yet another milestone with “GIANTS & MONSTERS” requires the courage to keep reinventing a colossus like HELLOWEEN. “In the end, we’re just seven guys who want to make music and enjoy the incomparable force that arises when we’re together. HELLOWEEN is way more powerful than the sum of its parts.”
It's been six years since La Dispute released their last album, Panorama. Since then, the Michigan post-hardcore band-made up of Jordan Dreyer on vocals, Brad Vander Lugt on drums, Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino on guitar, and Adam Vass on bass-dealt with the stagnance of the pandemic, celebrated the ten-year anniversaries of Wildlife and Rooms Of The House, and began working on No One Was Driving The Car. The fifth studio LP is the first entirely produced by the group, and it came together in Grand Rapids and Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines: "I think the change in environment was really helpful to breathing new life into the process each time we came back to it," Dreyer says.Partly inspired by the 2017 psychological thriller First Reformed, No One Was Driving The Car reckons with malaise in the shadow of the looming apocalypse, which has noticeably been worsened by the advancement of tech. The title comes from a quote from a police officer Dreyer read in a news article about a lethal self-driving Tesla crash, an absurd event which raises questions about the amount of control we have in our own lives. In fourteen dynamic tracks, the band grapples with the existential topic and the human need to find comfort and a sense of security in an existence where we're often thrust into chaos without permission.
It was winter in Manhattan. The streets were frozen and still the band rode bicycles to the Power Station on 53rd and back to Brooklyn for three weeks. Three weeks that would mark the birth of Double Infinity - the album that constitutes a grand departure for Big Thief. An ultramodern community of musicians gathered in the warm wooden room where Bruce once stood. They all tracked together – simultaneously – improvising arrangements and making collective discoveries.
Laraaji created drones with zither and an iPad and sang intuitive vocal melodies. Joshua Crumbly played bass; Mikey Buishas made live tape loops and played keys; Mikel Patrick Avery, Jon Nellen, and Caleb Michel played percussion; Adam Brisbin played guitar; and Hannah Cohen, Alena Spanger and June McDoom sang background vocals. Along with core members Adrianne, Buck, and James, the group played for nine hours a day. Double Infinity is the archive of this play. It could only have been produced, engineered, and mixed by longtime Big Thief collaborator Dom Monks.
“Double Infinity,” reaches into the idea of inner and outer worlds, and the body as the bridge. It speaks to the purgatory created by the human brain, always looking to the past or future, between the things we’ve lost and the things we want, between desire and regret. “Beauty speak to me, let me know you, let me see myself inside your mystery, through the crystal cage of aging.” It calls for true beauty to speak, not fabricated, conditioned ideas of beauty. At the bridge between “what is forming” and “what is fading”, between “losing and of gaining”, “mourning and celebrating”, perhaps there is solace in “the eye behind the essence, still, unmovable”, that which is “unchanging”, outside of time. Is it love?

In the making of his fourth full-length, the Atlanta-based singer/songwriter dreamed up a batch of songs exploring the longing and unease of being far from home-a true-to-life reflection he soon expanded into an elaborate concept album about a pilot lost in space. The latest addition to an acclaimed catalog including his 2017 breakthrough Face Your Fear (co-produced by Danger Mouse), Departures & Arrivals: The Adventures of Captain Curt merges the lavish scope of a space opera with the pure feeling of classic soul-ultimately bringing an even greater potency to his wildly eclectic sound.

Bryce Leatherwood's self-titled debut album includes the tracks "Where the Bar Is," "Shenandoah," and his current single at Country radio, "Hung Up on You." On the song's September 2024 release, Leatherwood shared, "Growing up, Country radio is what we listened to at home, so taking this one to the airwaves is a full circle moment for me. All I've ever wanted to do is make my family and everyone back home proud and having them hear my voice on the radio is a dream come true." He is the winner of season 22 of the American talent competition The Voice and has the distinction of being the first winner of the show to be a Wildcard artist during the live playoffs. He competed on the team coached by Blake Shelton, earning Shelton his ninth and final win as a coach on the show.
With their debut album,Afterglow,Sleep Theory is carving out space at the forefront of modern hard rock, stacking stadium-sized hooks with genuine emotional weight. If their meteoric rise is any indication, this is only the beginning. The album, which offers astunning display of diverse rock flavors, was produced by David Cowell andmixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring MeThe Horizon, Bad Omens, Architects).
Revolver put it best: “The band’s mix of metalcore, pop, and R&B is clearly connecting in a big way—and has positioned Sleep Theory as one of heavy music’s biggest breakouts.”
Sleep Theory isn’t just another rock band climbing the ranks—they’re an unstoppable force rewriting the genre’s rules in real time. Frontman Cullen Moore doesn’t just sing; he commands, delivering lung-busting hooks that sit comfortably between modern rock’s heaviest hitters and the emotional pull of early-2000s alt-metal.Sleep Theory’s sound blends anthemic rock, metalcore energy, and smooth R&B-inspired melodies, drawing comparisons to Linkin Park’s more dynamic moments. Moore’s vocal range allows for a mix of soaring melodies and intense screams, adding depth and versatility to their music.
In under two years, the Memphis-based quartet—Moore, bassist Paolo Vergara, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, and drummer Benjamin Pruitt—had rocketed from internet obscurity to festival mainstages and the momentum hasn’t slowed. With over 220 million streams on their first eight songs, Sleep Theory is proving that viral moments can have serious staying power.
The industry is watching. Sleep Theory closed out 2024 as the fifth most-played artist on Active Rock radio, with multiple singles cracking year-end rock and metal charts. Heavyweights like Jelly Roll and Disturbed’s David Draiman are openly singing their praises, while Shinedown, Beartooth, Wage War, Daughtry, and Falling in Reverse have already taken them on tour across the U.S. and Europe.
Just for a Day is the debut studio album by English rock band Slowdive, originally released on 2nd September 1991 by Creation Records. The vinyl format is pressed on 140g black vinyl.
Pygmalion is the third studio album by English rock band Slowdive, originally released on 6 February 1995 by Creation Records. It was the group's final album before their disbandment in 1995 and later reformation in 2014, and their only album with Ian McCutcheon, who had replaced Simon Scott on drums. Pygmalion is a significant departure from the shoegaze style that Slowdive had established in their previous two studio albums, Just for a Day and Souvlaki. The album features a more experimental sound tilted towards ambient electronic music, with sparse, atmospheric arrangements. The vinyl format is pressed on 140g black vinyl.
Distraction, depression, and heartbreak reign supreme in 2025. "Making art in this day and age for me is a battle for focus; we're in an age of interruption," says Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs on sixth album Better Dreaming. Proudly waving an anti-fascist, liberation, freak flag, Better Dreaming contains some of tUnE-yArDs smoothest, funkiest, and most direct pop music to date, and yes, you can dance to it. It's songs came to Garbus and bandmate/partner Brenner with unusual ease, letting the songs come out, following any trail they wished. Four-on-the-floor "How Big is the Rainbow" drips with disco-house, queer-club, anthemic strobe energy. Better Dreaming is ferocious in it's invocation of self-love, collective action, dance floor liberation, ego-death deliverance, and a future we could all thrive in. When diving into the present darkness of the world, tUnE-yArDs asks themselves how much literal energy and joy can be conjured and pumped through the music. In it's life-affirming art-pop of the apocalypse, Better Dreaming comes true.
The Mayflies USA make a triumphant return, after a 20+ year hiatus, with their album, Kickless Kids. The band has not lost any of the ingredients that gained them their initial notoriety - the glorious harmonies, the ear worm choruses, and the edgy guitars are all present on this new batch of songs. Standout songs include: "Calling the Bad Ones Home," "Cabbagetown," "Less Lost," and the title track. However, the entire set plays more like a "best of" collection, the songs are that strong.

This limited-edition pressing on multi-color splatter vinyl reproduces the original 1971 gatefold artwork. After the 1969 classic rock fusion Concerto for Group and Orchestra, Jon Lord was commissioned to write a follow-up. This was Gemini Suite, five long movements inspired by the members of Deep Purple and first performed live in September 1970 at the Royal Festival Hall with the Light Music Society Orchestra. Jon Lord then recorded it in the studio as his first solo project in 1971, with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Arnold and soloists drawn from the rock world - guitarist Albert Lee, Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice, singers Yvonne Elliman and Tony Ashton, and Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover.
