More Info:
Absolute gems of the Vivaldian production, the Concerti da Camera belong to a unique genre, invented by the composer: they are concertos for several soloists but without orchestra! Vivaldi develops an extraordinary inventiveness, fertile in discoveries and fantasy. Founded by harpsichordist Vincent Bernhardt, the ensemble Il delirio fantastic is a group of young musicians specialized in Baroque music and in the playing of historical instruments. It consists mainly of former student of the famous European universities and conservatories. Il delirio fantastic explores actively unheard music from the Italian and German baroque repertoire, while approaching as well the classics and particularly the music of Antonio Vivaldi. Between 2009 and 2012, Il delirio fantastic has presented a series of concerts every month in Lyon, dedicated to the sacred cantatas of J.S. Bach and to some other lesser-known Baroque composers such as Fux, Graupner, Heinichen, Pisendel, Frey, Pfeifer, Graun, Camerloher, Somis, Giay, and others.
